7.2 Retrofitting
-NOTE-
Additional cables or pipes can be installed subsequently without any problem. The maximum capacity of
the opening (number and size of cables or pipes) specified by the approval regulations must be observed.

1. Use a suitable tool to make an opening (screwdriver, drill bit, etc).
2. Push the cable or pipe through the opening.

3. Seal any remaining opening by applying foam.
• The extension nozzle can be used where access to openings is difficult.
• Excess foam can be cut back to the minimum specified installation thickness.
• Pieces of hardened foam that have been trimmed off can be inserted in the next opening and fresh
foam applied around them.

8. Disposal

Dispose of cartridges only when they have been completely emptied. Observe national and regional
regulations.

9. Warranty

Do not use the product if its expiry date has been exceeded. The expiry date is printed on the lower edge
of the cartridge and on the foil pack.
