The CDVI has been designed exclusively for controlling
pneumatic actuators. The maximum values specified in the
section Technical specifications" must be observed here.
Detailed information can be found in the Pneumatics
manual P.BE−CDVI−... .
Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs. You can thereby avoid func
tional damage.
S Use only power units which guarantee reliable
isolation of the operating voltages as per IEC 742/
EN 60742/VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV isolation
resistance (Protected Extra Low Voltage, PELV, see
adjacent symbol). Switch power packs are permitted,
providing they guarantee reliable isolation in
accordance with EN 60950/VDE 0805.
S Make sure that there is a conductive connection with
sufficient cross−sectional area between the CDVI and
the earthed mounting surface or the earthed machine
stand.

Commission only a valve terminal which has been fitted
and wired completely.
