YSTEM STARTUP & SUB LEVEL
When the system is turned on, the NXLCDC powers up and starts to
search the DSP Netlink for connected devices (amplifiers). As NXLCDC
searches each of the 10 addresses on the network, the LCD display will
show the progress and how many amplifiers have been found.
After the amplifiers are found, the NXLCDC will then check to see if a
Mono Amplifier is installed or if the"LEVEL CONTROL" switch on any
amplifier in the network is turned on. If the NXLCDC finds any amplifier(s)
meeting this condition, the display screen will show "SUB LEVEL" and the
amplifier(s) output level will be controlled by the NXLCDC. All NXS Mono
Amplifiers are automatically controlled by the "SUB LEVEL" adjustment
since they are dedicated subwoofer amplifiers. If you are using a two or
four channel NXS Amplifier to power subwoofers in the system, the
"LEVEL CONTROL" switch found on the amplifier can be turned "ON"
position to allow the NXLCDC to control the output level of the amplifier.
