REMOVING AND INSERTING REPLACEMENT BATTERIES
• Batteries must always be replaced by an adult.
• To replace the batteries: loosen the screw on the hatch (I, Fig. 2) at the back of the toy using a screwdriver, remove the hatch, remove
the dead batteries, insert new batteries being careful to insert them in the right direction (as indicated on the product), replace the hatch
and tighten the screw.
• Never leave batteries or tools within the child's reach.
• Always remove dead batteries from the product to prevent them from leaking fluid that could damage the toy.
• Always remove the batteries if the toy is not going to be used for an extended period of time.
• Use alkaline batteries which are identical or equivalent to those recommended for the product.
• Never mix old batteries with new ones.
• Never throw dead batteries in a fire or litter the environment; always dispose of them in differentiated waste collection bins.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Do not short circuit the power terminals.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries: they could explode.
• We do not recommend using rechargeable batteries; they could reduce toy performance.
• If you do use rechargeable batteries, remove them from the toy before recharging them and only recharge them under adult supervi-
sion.

• Clean the toy with a soft fabric or microfiber cloth that is dry or only slightly moist to prevent damaging the electrical circuits. Do not

• Be careful not to scratch the transparent plastic protecting the LCD display.
• Carefully protect the toy from heat, dust, sand and water.
