Positioning DriTec Pros

Operate the DriTec Pro 150 and 150C in an upright position.
•
For best results, place your DriTec Pro dehumidifier at least 3 feet away
•
from walls and contents.
• Keep dehumidifiers away from anything that could prevent airflow into and
out of the unit.

Optimal operating conditions

DriTec Pros operate best in cool, lower humidity conditions (60% Rh and
below). See the specifications for each dehumidifier's specific operating
parameters.
DriTec Pro 150C drainage and pump purge
Drainage
The DriTec Pro 150C is a condensing unit, so it collects and disposes moisture
through a drain hose. When placing the end of the hose in a sink, out a win-
dow, or into a container, etc., make sure the hose does not rise over 10 feet or
the liquid may not drain properly, risking leakage.
If drain hose empties into a container, be sure the end of the hose is above
the water. If it is not, an air trap may form, preventing proper drainage.
Pump Purge
The DriTec Pro 150C has a sensor located inside the pump. When the water
rises to a certain level, the pump-purge function will automatically be activated.
Water will discharge through the drainpipe.
To manually purge the pump, press and hold the start/stop button. Hold the
button until all the condensed water is discharged.

OW TO CHANGE THE FILTER
To change the filter on the DriTec
Pro 150 and 150C, press inward
(towards the machine) at the top
and the bottom of the filter panel
on each side (Figure 3).
See the maintenance section on page 5 for how often to change filters.

Pull the panel off, and take out the filter.
Once the replacement filter is loaded,
press the filter panel back into place.
