3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

A. Fitting the work bowls
Please wash all the accessories and the bowl carefully before
using for the first time.
CAUtIon: be extremely careful when handling the sharp
accessories.
notE: You may find the bowls difficult to handle the first time
you use the processor.
• Place the processor on a level surface.
• Place the XL bowl over the shaft of the motor base, making sure
the handle is properly positioned to the left of centre. Turn the
bowl to the right until it is locked onto the housing base.
• To use the rapid preparation work bowl, place your thumbs in
the finger recesses to slot it into the XL bowl with the spout
turned to the back of the unit. The two nooks should slot into
the grooves of the XL bowl.
notE: To use the rapid preparation work bowl, it must be inserted
into the XL bowl.

B. Removing the bowls from the processor
• To remove the rapid preparation bowl, use the finger recesses
and pull up.
• To remove the XL bowl, grasp the housing base firmly with your
left hand, hold the handle of the bowl in your right hand and
turn clockwise to unlock the bowl assembly.
