10. Insert the four clips (supplied) into the two
slots on the inner and back sides of the
printer as shown in the figure. Firmly push
in the clips to secure the printer to the top
sheet feeder.
11. Slide the tray back into the printer. Make
sure to push the tray all the way in.
Important
• When inserting the tray, be careful not to get your
fingers caught between the tray and the printer or
another tray.
12. Plug in the power cord.
13. Switch the power on by pressing the power switch to the <|> position.
The installation is now complete.
Refer to the User Guide on how to load paper into the sheet feeders.
Note
• You can check whether the sheet feeders have been installed correctly by printing out the [Printer
Settings] list. Refer to the User Guide on how to print the [Printer Settings] list.
• After installing the sheet feeders, change the accessory configuration on your print driver. For more
information, refer to the online help provided for the print driver.

Uninstallation Procedure

The following explains how to remove the sheet feeders from the printer.
Important
• Make sure to remove the sheet feeders before moving the printer. If the sheet feeders are not securely
installed, they may fall and cause injuries.
