Mounting a GNSS antenna (optional)
The Outdoor Unit has a built-in GNSS receiver. If you are not using an auto-
matic DF antenna from Narda, you have the option of receiving the position
data through an external GNSS antenna. The GNSS antenna and the L
bracket for mounting it can be purchased as a kit separately from Narda
(item no. 3330/90.04).
Mounting the bracket for the GNSS antenna
For mast-mounting, it is possible to fasten the L bracket of the GNSS
antenna to the upper U bracket.
For wall-mounting, the L bracket of the GNSS antenna can be mounted
directly to the wall or to the L bracket of the wall-mount adapter.
Mounting the surge protection device to the GNSS cable
connection
Narda recommends mounting a surge protection device to the GNSS cable
connection to protect the connection from overvoltage and weather effects;
e.g. DEHNgate – SPDs for Coaxial Connection: DGA G N item no. 929 044
and DGA G SMA item no. 929 039.
