4-B Install Forward-Facing
with LATCH Straps
Review your vehicle's owner manual for LATCH location and use. Do not
install by this method for a child weighing more than 45 lb (20 kg)
1. Remove LATCH Strap from
Storage Location
2. Make Sure LATCH Strap is in the
Forward-Facing Belt Path Marked
with Orange Label
If not, See section 8 to move LATCH strap.
3. Adjust the Car Seat
Place car seat in recline position 4,
5, or 6. For children over 40 lb
(18.1 kg) you MUST use recline
position 6.
