Operating principle
You can use this appliance in the exhaust air or
recirculating air mode.
Exhaust air operation
The air sucked in is cleaned by the
grease filters and is routed outdoors
through a pipe system.
▯
The exhaust air must not be routed into a chimney
or a shaft that simultaneously serves to extract air
from rooms containing heat-producing
appliances.
▯
The local chimney sweep's consent must be
obtained if the exhaust air is to be routed to a
smoke or exhaust gas chimney that is not in
operation.
▯
A telescopic wall duct should be used if the
exhaust air is routed through the outside wall.
Circulating-air mode
Theairwhichis drawn in is cleaned by
the grease filters and an activated
carbonfilterandconveyed back into
the kitchen.
Note:
An activated carbon filter must be installed to
bind odours in circulating-air mode (see "Removing
and installing the grease filters"). The complete
installation set as well as the replacement filters are
available from specialist outlets, customer service or
the Online Shop. The accessory number can be found
at the end of the operating instructions
