6 Limitations on Use

Intended Life
A local risk assessment should be carried out based upon activity and usage.

User weight and activity is governed by the stated limits.

This device is waterproof to a maximum depth of 1 meter.

7 Bench Alignment

The instructions in this section are for practitioner use only.
7.1

Static Alignment

Adjust the alignment (A-P slide and tilt (and rotation 239017)) in combination with interfacing
adapters to properly accommodate flexion, adduction or abduction. Ensure that the wearer can
stand in a stable position with the heel and toe are evenly loaded.
7.2

Dynamic Alignment

Coronal Plane
Ensure that M-L thrust is minimal by adjusting relative positions of socket and foot.
Sagittal Plane
Adjust relative positions of Prosthetic components to achieve a smooth, stable transition from
heel strike to toe-off.
Note:
Ensure that the wearer can stand in a stable position with the heel and toe are
evenly loaded.
