START: Press to start the equipment.
STOP: Press to stop the equipment.
PROG: Press to select a pre-set program. Each press moves to the next program in sequence (P1 to P2, P2 to P3
and so on). Hold the button down to more quickly step through programs. After P12 option, you will find FAT, press
if you wish to activate the body mass index calculator. (Check the Body Mass Index Calculator Table).
MODE: When in Manual mode and the equipment is not running, press to switch between time, distance or calorie
setting options.
SPEED: When the equipment is running, press
changes speed by 0. 1 km/h. Hold the button down to more quickly change speed. The speed range is 1.0 to 22
km/h. Speed can also be adjusted using the right-hand handle mounted + and – buttons. When in Manual mode
and the equipment is not running, press + or – to adjust either time, distance or calories target values. When in
Program mode and the equipment is not running, press + or – to adjust the program time value.
INCLINE: When the equipment is running, press ▲ to increase the belt platform inclination. Press ▼ to decrease
gradient. The highest gradient values require more energy to run the same distance and speed than lower
gradients. The gradient will change by 1% each time that you press the button. Hold the button down to change
the gradient more quickly. Inclination range is 1-15%. The inclination can also be set using the
on the left handle.
FAN: Press this button to activate/deactivate the fan function. The fan is under the console.
QUICK SPEED SELECT: In Manual mode, press the "Quick Speed Select" button on the right-hand side of the
screen to change to 3.0, 6.0 or 9.0km/h. Speed will remain selected until you change it or until the unit stops.
QUICK INCLINATION SELECT: In Manual mode, press "Quick Inclination Select" on the left-hand side of the
screen to change to 3, 6, or 9% gradient. Gradient will remain selected until you change it or until the unit stops.
MANUAL MODE AND PROGRAM MODE
The equipment features two basic operating modes.
NOTE: The equipment does not need to be running to change or select modes.

MANUAL MODE

The equipment is being used, but not running a preset program. In this mode, the equipment can be set to stop
automatically at a pre-set session duration, distance or calories used value. To enter Manual mode, press MODE.
NOTE: You can also press START to use the equipment without setting a duration or distance. In this
mode, the equipment will stop automatically after 60 minutes.
The HSM-MT12 has a MODE function which allows you set the equipment operation you want at any time. In this mode,
once started, the equipment will be running until you stop it or you can reset it with a preset session duration, distance,
or calorie target you wish to burn.
1.
Turn on the equipment.
2. Press START. The equipment counts down 3 seconds, and then the belt starts running at the lowest speed.
