The CDVI has been designed exclusively for controlling
pneumatic actuators. The maximum values specified in
the section Technical specifications" must be observed
here. Detailed information can be found in the Pneumatics
manual P.BE−CDVI−... .
Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs. You can thereby avoid func
tional damage.
S Use only power units which guarantee reliable
electrical isolation of the operating voltage as per
IEC/DIN EN 60204−1. Observe also the general
requirements for PELV power circuits as per
IEC/DIN EN 60204−1.
S Make sure that there is a conductive connection with
sufficient cross−sectional area between the CDVI and
the earthed mounting surface or earthed machine
rack.

Commission only a valve terminal which has been fitted
and wired completely.
