Run the Food Recycling Cycle

For best performance, run the food recycling cycle when the
food scraps reach the top of the mixing blade, or after seven
days have elapsed. Most cycles complete within 24 hours.
However, it can extend to up to 48 hours if your load is unusually
wet or the amount is larger than recommended.
Zera™ additive packs are available on www.zera.com and
at participating retailers.

output bin. This transfer will take around 20 minutes. Wait until
the transfer is complete. When the transfer is complete, the
Complete light will come on, the lid will unlock, and the
Lid Locked light will turn off.
NOTE:
The lid will remain locked until the food waste is processed
and transferred.

Output Ready for Use

The Food Recycler has processed a final output of homemade
fertilizer and is now ready to be used or stored for later use.

Allergic Reaction Hazard
Homemade fertilizer may contain allergens or
pathogens from food waste or other added materials.
Wash hands after touching homemade fertilizer.
Failure to do so can result in allergic reaction or
sickness.
Remove output bin
Press down on the retention tab and pull out to remove output
bin from the food recycler.
The output bin can be used to transport the homemade fertilizer
for use in your yard or garden, or to transport to an airtight
storage container.
