Possible Cause
Wet load—the food load may

Explanation and Solution
Press and hold the Cancel button for 3 seconds to reset the
unit.
Check the output bin and remove output if present.
Start a new cycle by pressing the Start button.
NOTE: For best performance, addition of another additive
pack is not recommended.

Once the object is removed, open and close the lid to
initiate a "mixing and leveling" run. During this run, the
mixer will rotate for about 30 seconds to check if the
problem has been resolved.
If the jam has been cleared and the run completes without
any error, check the output bin and remove any output if
present.
Start a new cycle by pressing the Start button.
NOTE: For best performance, addition of another additive
pack is not recommended.
If homemade fertilizer spilled into the output bin housing,
clean with a towel or vacuum out before placing output bin
back into the housing.
1. Cancel the cycle and check mixing bin for any foreign
objects.
2. Remove any foreign objects. See the "Removing a Food
Waste Jam or Foreign Object" section.
3. Start a new cycle.
NOTE: If the cycle has been canceled, the lid will not
unlock until the food reycler has cooled down.

Unplug for 30 seconds, then plug back into wall outlet.
If the problem is not fixed, call for service.
