- Fill the appliance (6) with cold drinking water.
- Place the body of the appliance (6) on its base
(7).
- Plug the power cable in to a socket.
- Close the lid (1) of the appliance.
- Press the on/off switch (3) to turn the kettle on.
- The red on light (4) will come on. The display
screen (12) will show "ON".
- Press the programmable button (9). The red
on light (4) will go off and the blue temperature
selection light (11) will come on. The number
"50" will flash on the display screen (12).
- Select the desired temperature by pressing the
+ or temperature selection buttons.
- You can select any temperature between 50º
and 95ºC, in increments of 5ºC.
- Once you've selected the temperature, the
number indicated will flash for a few seconds
and then be memorised. The number shown on
the screen indicates the current temperature of
the water.
- The kettle may be turned off manually at any
time using the on/off switch (3). The appliance
will beep after 12 seconds of boiling.
- When the water reaches the selected tempe-
rature, it will be kept at this temperature for 2
hours. The kettle will switch itself on and off
automatically as necessary to maintain the
desired temperature.
- After maintaining the temperature for two
hours, if the kettle has not been used it will go
into standby mode.
CLEANING
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains and
allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning
task.
- Clean the electrical equipment and the mains
connection with a damp cloth and dry. DO
NOT IMMERSE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER
LIQUID.
- Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a
few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or
base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products,
for cleaning the appliance.
- Neither parts of this appliance are suitable for
cleaning in the dishwasher.
HOW TO DEAL WITH LIME SCALE
INCRUSTATIONS:
- For the appliance to work correctly it should be
kept free of limescale or magnesium incrustati-
ons caused by the use of hard water.
- To prevent this kind of problem, we recommend
the use of water with low lime or magnesium
mineralisation.
- However, if it is not possible to use the kind
of water recommended above, you should
periodically remove the limescale from the
appliance:
- Every 6 weeks if the water is "very hard".
- Every 12 weeks if the water is "hard".
- A specific anti-lime scale product should be
used on this kind of product.
- Homemade solutions are not recommended in
the decaling of this appliance, such as the use
of vinegar
