1 Safety instructions

Read these instructions for use carefully before using the unit
o Install the unit on a level, dry and solid floor to reduce potential vibrations or noise.
o Never use an appliance if the cable or other connector is damaged, or some strange phenomenon
occurs, e.g. the cable starts to become unusually warm, or there is a strange smell or excessive
noise. If this occurs, disconnect the power cable straight away and contact customer service.
o Disconnect the unit from the power supply when not in use for extended periods, or when it is
moved or cleaned. Do not move the appliance by pulling on the power cord.
o Use the unit in compliance with specified voltage.
o The unit is intended for indoor household use only. Do not use for any other purposes.
o Do not place heavy objects on top of the unit.
o Do not lay the appliance on its sides. Disconnect the appliance when moving it.
o Never insert any objects into the inner space of the unit to prevent its failure.
o Do not place the unit near appliances radiating heat or near flammable and hazardous materials.
Do not use the appliance in places where air humidity is high, e.g. in a bathroom.
o This appliance is not intended for use by persons (children) with reduced physical or sensory
capabilities, or insufficient experience, unless they have been instructed in the use of the
appliance, or are working under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety. Children
must be supervised by an adult and should not play with the appliance.
o Do not open or otherwise modify the unit without the manufacturer's approval. Doing so may put
health at risk or damage the product.
o Do not activate in environments with an aggressive atmosphere or in places with a high number of
grease particles in the air, e.g. kitchens where a lot of frying is done.
o Keep the appliance clean and away from water.
o The unit must be installed in a place where the electrical socket is easily accessed. Always
disconnect the power cord by pulling on the head of the plug.
o To avoid any unwanted blockage of air intake or outlet, the unit should be installed at a min.
distance of 50 cm from the nearest obstacle. The unit must not be installed near curtains or similar
home furnishings.
o This appliance is not designed to capture carbon monoxide. If you use gas heating, ensure
sufficient ventilation using fresh air from outside.
o The unit must be installed in harmony with national regulations for electrical installation systems.
o Do not attempt to hide the power cord, for example, under the carpet, and do not place it in areas
where people are likely to be moving around. If you follow these rules, people are less likely to trip
over the cable.
Do not attempt to repair, dismantle or modify the unit as this may result in failure,
damage, or endangering life and health.
