8 Maintenance

Prior to any maintenance work, switch off the appliance and disconnect the power cord from
the mains.
Use a soft dry cloth for cleaning.
WARNING:
 Only clean the appliance using a soft dry cloth.
 Do not immerse the appliance in water.
 Do not use any chemicals such as detergents, alcohol, solvents or abrasives for
cleaning.
 Prevent water from penetrating inside the appliance, especially into electronic
components. There is a risk of electric shock injuries or damage to the appliance.
 Do not disassemble the appliance and do not attempt to clean its internal
components. This may cause damage to the unit and endanger health.
 Do not try and clean the inside of the appliance through the slats of the air outlet.
 The HEPA filter is not washable and may not come into contact with water.
Keep the appliance in good condition by regularly cleaning its surface, as well as the internal
space that houses the filter. The pre-filter on the air intake rear cover must always be kept clean
and can be vacuumed. Because of its structure, we do not recommend vacuuming the HEPA
filter, since this may cause it damage. In addition, it works on the principle of retaining particles
in a very dense mesh of fibres, and so vacuuming will have almost no effect on the filter's life
span.
