Ionizer (Anion)
The ionizer is activated by pressing the 'Anion' button when the unit is switched on.
Deleting exchange filter warning (Reset)
Since the HEPA filter is not washable, and vacuuming the surface only slightly improves its
function, the appliance is fitted with an automatic reminder of when to replace the filter. If this
control light (shared with the ionizer) flashes, take out the HEPA filter and check its condition. If
it has gone grey and shows signs of having become dirty, it must be replaced; a dirty filter
reduces the appliance's cleaning ability and puts an unnecessary load on the fan. If you think the
filter needs replacing, insert a new one into the unit, and cancel the exchange filter warning by
holding down the Anion (Reset) button for 3 seconds. The button will stop flashing.
Child lock
Press and hold this button for 3 seconds to lock the control panel, all buttons will be inactive. To
cancel the lock, press and hold the same button again for 3 seconds.
Timer
Use this button to click through and set the period after which the unit will automatically switch
off. The options are 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours. The timer is deactivated by pressing the ON/OFF button
(switching off the appliance) or by pressing the Timer button so that none of the LED indicators
1H, 2H, 4H or 8H are illuminated. This function is not available in sleep mode.
Sleep mode
By pressing this button when the unit is operating, all control lights, including this mode, will go
off in 10 seconds. The fan speed will be set to the lowest possible level. By pressing any button
you will leave this mode.
Speed
By pressing this button you can switch between different fan speeds: low – medium – high –
automatic (for Auto mode, see below).
ON/OFF
Press this button to switch on the unit, press it once more to switch it off.
