safety messages in this manual and on your appliance. Always read and
obey all safety messages.
This is the safety alert symbol.
This symbol alerts you to potential
hazards that can kitl or hurt you and others.
All safety messages will follow the safety alert symbol and either the word DANGER or WARNING.
These words mean:
DANGER: Indicates
a
hazardous situation which, if not avoided, witl resuff in death or serious injury.
WARNING:
indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.

a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in minor or
moderate injury.
All safety messages will tell you what the potential hazard is, tell you how to reduce the chance of injury, and
tell you what can happen if the instructions are not followed.

• Do not instaff a clothes dryer with flexible plastic venting materlals.
|f a flexible metal (taft type) duct is installed,
it must be of a specific type identified by the appliance manufacturer as suitable for use with clothes dryers.
F|exible venting materials are known to coffapse, be easily crushed, and trap ffnt. These conditions will obstruct
cnothesdryer airflow and increase the risk of fire.
° Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this appliance or any
other appliances.
