Using the Velcro® fastening, the calf strap can
be fitted at the desired position.
Seat cushion
The seat cushion can only be put in position, if
the guide pin is fitted between the commode seat
and its hand grip (at the back).
Toilet bucket
The toilet bucket can now be pushed below the
seat from the back, with or without its cover.
HINT: If you pour a small amount of water into
the upper rim of the toilet bucket, then when the
cover is put on, the contents of the bucket will be
sealed to prevent bad odours.
Brakes
Before getting onto or off the toilet chair, the
parking brakes must be applied to the rear
castors. The brakes are applied or released by
pushing down or raising the silver brake lever
with your foot.
Do not operate the brakes with your hands,
as this carries a risk of injury!
Safety
Do not stand on the footrests, the toilet chair
could tip over – risk of injury!
Do not lift the chair by using the armrests or
footrests. These parts are removable or can
swing aside, so if you use these to lift the
chair it could result in injuries or damage.
Do not lean too far forwards - danger of
tipping over!
Repairs: Only by your specialist dealer!
Do not reach sideways further than the length
of your arm allows – danger of tipping over!
Do not use as wheelchair!
Care
The seat cushion, armpads, frame and commode
seat can be wiped by using domestic cleaning
agents and a damp cloth. The toilet seat should
also be cleaned regularly with disinfectant, at
least before use is resumed.
Before each use, check screw connections for
tightness.
Chrome parts should be wiped periodically with a
dry cloth. Use a mild chrome polish on stubborn
dirt. Joints should be lightly greased.
Cleaning with hot jets and high pressure
equipment is not permitted.
Disinfection
Before the product is handed over, it should be
disinfected by an authorised person. Use only
disinfectants
and
accordance with the recommendations of the
Robert-Koch-Institute (disinfection by scrubbing).

At least once a year, your toilet chair should be
checked by your specialist dealer, to make sure
that the frame, commode seat, pads, armrests
and footrests are in good condition, so that your
toilet chair remains functional for as long as
possible. If these checks are not carried out and
documented, then the manufacturer's guarantee
and liability is void.
The following maintenance is to be carried out
before each use is resumed.
