Hazards caused by repetitive movements

When circular and oscillating sawing machines or sawing
machines with reciprocating saw blades are used to perform
workrelated tasks, the operator may experience unpleasant
sensations in the hands, arms, neck, shoulders or other parts of
the body .
When using circular and oscillating sawing machines or sawing
machines with reciprocating saw blades, the operator should
adopt a comfortable posture, ensuring a secure footing and
avoiding unfavourable postures or postures where it is difficult to
maintain balance . The operator should change positions during
the course of longlasting tasks . This can be helpful in the preven
tion of discomfort and fatigue .
If the operator notices symptoms such as persistent or recurring
illness, discomfort, throbbing, pain, tingling, burning or stiffness,
these indications should not be ignored .
The operator should consult a suitably qualified physician .
