Discharging Procedure

When the charging procedure of the AED7000 has finished, the AED7000 will enter the discharging
procedure and give voice prompts to the operator.
During the discharging procedure, shock indicator, Caution indicator and analyzing
indicator will be flickering.
Warning!
During the discharging procedure, do not touch the patient.
The first prompt advises to stand clear of the patient.
The operator should stand clear of the patient before pressing the shock button.
Press flashing shock button
This prompt will be broadcast repeatedly to indicate that the AED7000 is ready to deliver a shock.
Deliver a shock
To deliver a shock, the several steps below must be obeyed:
1. Make sure the indicator of shock button is flashing, which means the AED7000 is properly charged
2. Before pressing the shock button, make sure no one is touching the body of the patient
3. Press the shock button.
If the shock button is pressed, shock indicators and analyzing indicator will stop flicke-
ring while the flickering of Caution indicator will continue
Prior to pressing the shock button, if the AED7000 detects that the pads are not firmly placed on the
chest of the patient the following alert will occur
Shock cancelled, check the electrodes.
If the operator does not press the shock button, the AED7000 will automatically begin internal
discharging procedure in 30 seconds.
Time out, analysis restart.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedure (CPR)

The AED7000 will enter cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedure, when the condition below occurs:
