During the CPR procedure, the four indicators: Check Pad, Caution, Analyzing and
Shock will not flicker
No shockable heart rhythm is detected
During the heart rhythm analysis period, if the heart rhythm is not considered to be a shockable
rhythm by the AED7000, a cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedure (CPR) will start
No shock advised
During the period of charging, if the AED7000 detects that the shockable rhythm has changed to a
normal one, the AED7000 will stop current procedure and switch to CPR procedure.
The operator can touch the body of the patient and check their conditions.
During the cardiopulmonary resuscitation period, the AED7000 will ignore the heart
rhythm analyzed result and the improper electrode connection
If the patient is not breathing and has no pulse, a cardiopulmonary resuscitation should be perfor-
med on the patient immediately.
The CPR time is fixed at 120 seconds; the AED7000 will prompt the rest time every 30
seconds
The voice prompts of rest time are below:
Patient may be touched. Carry on CPR. Alternately give 30 chest compressions and 2
mouth-to-mouth breaths. Now give 30 times chest compressions. Now give 2 mouth-
to-mouth breaths (Four Cycles)
At the end of 10 seconds of CPR, the AED7000 will give a prompt to indicate that the operator must
stop CPR and not touch the patient so that the AED7000 can restart a heart rhythm analysis and
determine if a shockable rhythm condition exists.
Stop CPR, start analysis ten seconds later.

An emergency cancellation
If any unpredictable situation occurs, the operator can use the ON/OFF button to make an emergen-
cy cancellation.
Examples of unpredictable situation may include:
• The movement of the patient during the discharging period.
• The disconnection of the electrode pads during the discharging period.
• Other dangerous situations.
