3—Indications for Use and Maximum Weight
The HiPro H2O, RAMPAGE H2O, and RAMPAGE LP H2O
feet are designed exclusively for lower limb prostheses.
RUSH H2O feet are intended for barefoot activities only.
Acceptable activities include:
showering, pool activities, surfing, kayaking, stand up
paddle boarding, indoor yoga, karate, gymnastics, other
miscellaneous barefoot activities.
They are appropriate for patients with low, moderate, or high impact activity
levels whose weight (carried load included) complies with the table below.
Advice: Patients of similar weight and size often require different category
selections due to the activities they perform in their day to day life. Patients
who perform high impact activities such as sprinting and basketball benefit
from a slightly stiffer and more responsive foot compared to a patient who only
performs low activities such as walking and playing golf. Proteor USA has
created four different activity levels with examples to aid Prosthetists in
selecting the correct activity level for their patient.
The four activity levels and their examples are the following:
•
Low: Walking, Showering
•
Moderate: Paddle Boarding, Yoga
•
High: Water Skiing, Wakeboarding
•
High Impact: Gymnastics, Karate.
The authorized maximum load is 365 lbs / 166 kg.

Each H2O RUSH foot
is resistant to fresh, sea, and chlorinated water provided
that the recommendations of Sections 8 and 9 are respected.

4—Contraindications for Use
RUSH H2O Feet are intended for bare feet activities only. Usage during activities
where shoes would typically be worn will prematurely wear the Vibram sole and
void the warranty of the foot. Activities that are not permitted include:
trail hiking, mountain biking, dirt biking, running, skateboarding, and use in
extreme/aggressive terrain.
5—Bench Alignment
Sagittal Plane:
After determining the appropriate socket flexion
and heel height, position the weight line so that
it falls through the center of the foot adapter. As
the unique glass composite material provides
substantially more flexibility than the other
prosthetic feet, this represents a good starting
point for a bench alignment.
Coronal Plane:
After determining the appropriate socket adduction/abduction, position
the weight line so that it falls through the midline of the foot in a neutral M-L
position.
6—Alignment (With the Patient)
Static Alignment:
Due to the shape of the rocker sole (bottom blade), patients may experience a new sensation when seeking the
midpoint of the foot. The rocker sole allows patients to find their own comfortable static or standing position.
The rocker bottom shape of the sole serves 2 primary functions :
a. Provide a continuous and progressive point of contact throughout the entire step.
b. Eliminate any "flat" or "dead" spot.
Adjustment of the A/P set screws at the proximal adapter is the more appropriate place to make changes
regarding plantar flexion or dorsiflexion.
