• Children should not clean and maintain the appliance, unless they under
supervision.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid to protect
against electric shock and injury to persons.
• Supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by children or
being used in the vicinity of children.
• The use of accessories, which are not recommended by the manufacturer
may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
• Please do not place on or near hot gas or electric ovens or in a heated
oven.
• Do not misuse the appliance for anything other than the intended purpose
to prevent possible injury.
• For the safety of small children, do not leave any packaging components
(plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc.) lying around. Caution! Danger
of suffocation! Keep all packaging materials and small parts that could be
swallowed out of reach of infants, toddlers and children.
• Check the appliance regularly for wear and damage.
• Stop operating the appliance immediately and do not use it any more if it
is damaged or worn out, if it has fallen down on the floor or if you notice
smoke, unusual noises or smells. Contact the customer service immediate-
ly. In order to avoid hazardous situations, faulty components should only
be replaced by qualified personnel.

4. Before You Start
• Remove all packaging materials and foils. Retain them for later use. Check
that the appliance has been delivered completely and is in proper condition.
• Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth completely and allow it to dry com-
pletely.
• Mount the whisk (double quirl (5), balloon quirl (6)) by holding the milk froth-
er in one hand and the quirl in the other hand. Slide the quirl onto the quirl
connector.
