Changing the LCD Display of the System ID and Name
To change the LCD display of the system ID and name, enter the System Setup program as
described in the User's Guide and select Embedded Server Management from the main setup
screen. Then, in the screen that opens, select User-Defined, and under User Defined LCD String:
enter the desired system ID for Line 1 and system name for Line 2.
LCD Status Messages Update
Table 1-2 lists updates to the LCD status messages that can occur, and the probable cause
for each message. The LCD messages refer to events recorded in the system event log (SEL).
For information on the SEL and configuring system management settings, see the systems
management software documentation.
