is no direct physical contact. If the watch is dropped on the ground or is subjected to intense shocks, it may get
damaged or malfunction.
Magnetic fields
This watch is antimagnetic up to 60 gauss and is therefore not influenced by magnetic fields produced by normal
electrical appliances. If it is used near very strong magnetic fields, its functions may momentarily be affected.
Chemical substances and gases
Do not wear the watch when you are near chemical substances or gases. If the watch comes into contact with
solvents, such as benzene, or products containing substances such as petrol, polish, detergents, adhesives, its
parts may fade or crack. Take particular care to avoid all chemical substances. The casing of the watch and its
strap may fade if they come into contact with the mercury from a broken thermometer or other source.
Keep the watch clean
Wipe dirty parts with a soft, absorbent cloth.
If the watch is worn with its back or strap dirty, this could cause skin irritation through direct contact with the
skin.
How to clean the strap:
• Metal bracelet: wash dirty areas with a brush having immersed its bristles in tepid, soapy water.
• Plastic or rubber strap: wash in water. Do not use solvents.
• Leather strap: wipe the front gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Periodic inspection
We recommend the watch be checked by an Authorized Service Centre every one or two years to ensure a long
and trouble-free life.
Keep the batteries out of the reach of children
If a battery is accidentally swallowed, seek medical advice without delay.
In order to allow improvements to be made to the product, its specifications may be modified without notice.
