1. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the operating instructions carefully before use and keep the manual, the warranty, the
invoice and, if possible, the original box with its packaging.
• The appliance is designed exclusively for domestic use. This appliance is not fit for commercial
use. Do not use it outdoors.
• Keep it away from heat sources, direct sunlight, humidity and sharp edges. Do not use the
appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. Do not immerse
it in water or any other liquid.
• When cleaning or storing the appliance, switch it off and unplug it from the mains supply (pull
from the plug, not the cable). Disconnect the appliance if it is not being used and remove the
accessories.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use. If you must leave the workplace, always
switch the machine off or remove the plug from the socket.
• To protect the children from the dangers related to electrical appliances, make sure that the
power cord does not hang and that children do not have access to the appliance.
• Check the appliance and the cable for damages on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it
is damaged.
• Do not try to repair the appliance on your own; always contact an authorised technician. To avoid
the exposure to danger, always have a faulty cable replaced only by the manufacturer, by our
technical support service, or by a qualified person.
• Use only original spare parts.
• Pay careful attention to the following "Special Safety Instructions".

• Do not use the appliance in humid environments!
• Never use the product without the filter. Make sure that the filter is properly placed!
• Keep hair, clothing, and body parts away from the vacuum nozzle while in use!
• Keep the vacuum cleaner away from heat sources like radiators, ovens, etc.!
• In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes,
polystyrene, etc.) out of their reach.
