1d. Open trunk to remove taillights. Using a flat screw driver, remove (2)
plastic hooks by prying the center pin out of the hook, (1) per side.
1d. Continued - Using an 8mm socket, remove (3) hex nuts holding
the taillight, both sides. Using a 10mm socket, remove (1) hex nut
holding the upper area of the fascia near the trunk opening, both
sides. Disconnect the wiring harness from the taillights.

1d. Continued - Remove (2) small panels covering the taillight wiring.
Gently pull the interior trunk liner away from the taillight area to
expose the mounting hardware.
1d. Continued - Using a trim panel tool, gently remove the taillights by
pulling rearward and set aside.
