device can be operated by remote control. If the switch is set to "30 min. /
RC", after the warm-up phase, the device can be remotely controlled for
30 minutes. Each time a button is pressed on the remote control,
the 30 minutes restart. Once the time expires, commands from the
remote control will be blocked to prevent tampering. This is indicated by 3
GB
flashes of the blue mode LED. By removing the sensor and replacing it again
or by briefly switching the power off, the 30 minutes will start again.
DIP switch 2: Burn-in of fluorescent lamps
To retain their maximum service life, fluorescent lamps must first be
burned in with 100 % luminous efficiency in DIM mode. The function
is disabled in the factory settings. If the switch is set to "ON", a burn-in
time with 100 % luminous efficiency and lasting 100 hours begins
according to IEC60081 / IEC60901, regardless of motion or the
ambient light value. This is indicated by the red, green and blue LEDs
flashing rapidly at the same time. Once the time expires, the presence
detector operates according to its default settings. To start the
function again after replacing the fluorescent lamp, you must
switch the power off and then restart the device. Then, press the
remote control's "Light ON" button during the warm-up phase.
Alternatively, this function can be implemented without switching off the
power by using the Mobil RCi-M remote control. To do this, proceed
as follows: Press and hold down the X button for more than 5 seconds
to start the warm-up phase. During the warm-up phase (25 seconds),
press the "ON / OFF" button once. The detector will not respond to remote
control commands or to button signals when the 100 % burn-in function
is active.
DIP switch 3: Selecting the factory settings
In the factory settings, factory setting P1 is activated. If the switch is

set to P2, factory setting P2 is activated. For an overview of the factory
settings, see chapter 4 "Start-up".
DIP switch 4: Adjusting the sensitivity
The device is set to maximum sensitivity "S-max." in the factory settings.
If the switch is set to "S-min.", the level of sensitivity is reduced. This setting
is recommended if undesired switching occurs due to interference sources,
such as hot air streams.
7 • FUNCTIONS
Fully automatic mode
Light channels C1 + C2 will switch on automatically, depending on the preset
light value and detection of movement. They will remain on for as long
as movement is detected and as long as the ambient light value does
not exceed the preset light value. The HVAC channel C3 is switched on
when movement is detected, regardless of the ambient light value.
The time settings for the respective channels will start if movement is no
longer detected. The time setting for C1 + C2 is always the same. Each channel
can also be manually switched on or off using buttons S1 – S3. The device
is preset to fully automatic mode.
Semi-automatic mode for light channel C1 + C2
Light is switched on manually using the S1 or S2 button, no automatic
activation. If the ambient lighting level is darker than the preset light
value, the light channels are adjusted to this preset value. They will
remain on for as long as movement is detected and as long as the
ambient light value does not exceed the preset light value. However,
if the ambient lighting level is brighter than the preset light value,
the light channels are adjusted to 10 % of the luminous efficiency.
