Balance value in TIG AC. (Only AC TIG).Displaying of a positive or negative value referring to
•
L12:
the positive wave in the TIG AC mode.
A negative value indicates greater penetration and fusion of the electric arc in the weld bath with less cleaning of the
piece, while a positive value indicates greater cleaning of the electric arc over the weld bath but with lower
penetration.
The following figure shows two graphs with different balance value: the first graph represents the curve of the current
with a negative value balance (more penetration) in which it can be seen that there is a low percentage of positive
wave compared with the negative.
In the second graph the current curve is shown with a positive value balance (more cleaning); in this case the
percentage of the positive wave is greater than the negative one.
Electrode diameter in TIG AC. By giving to the generator the diameter of the torch electrode

that you are using ¡Error! No se encuentra el origen de la referencia. can optimise the welding parameters in the
start in AC TIG mode. The diameters available are: 1,0mm – 1,6mm – 2,0mm – 2,4mm – 3,2mm – 4,0mm.
L14: Slope up time. This makes it possible to set a time in which the current is taken from the start current to

the welding current.
Pre-gas time. It makes it possible to determine the length of gas emission before the HF start.
•
Pre-gas time is adjustable pressing key S2 for 2 seconds on two-stroke HF (2T-HF) TIG welding.
