FLAKES
Grains can be cut into fi ve different
size fl akes (Fig. 4) by using settings 1-3
and the intermediate positions
(marked by dots) in between.
Using this method, the chosen setting
changes the distance between the fi rst
pair of rollers only, determining the size
of the fl ake. The third roller simply eases
the fl akes through the machine without
further processing.
Choose the fl ake size based on personal
4
preference and the type of grain used.
BREAKFAST FLAKES
Marga Mulino gives you the ability to make
your own, fresh breakfast fl akes.
Consuming freshly cut fl akes ensures you enjoy
not only the freshest fl avor, but also the full
nutritional benefi t of the grains.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Attach the machine to the table with the clamp (Fig. 5), and insert the handle into the hole above the
clamp. To change the settings on the adjustment knob, pull the knob out and turn to the desired setting
(Fig. 6). If using the "Pastadrive Motor," follow the attachment instructions provided in the motor's
manual (Fig. 7).
Use setting 0 for grinding coarse, wholemeal fl our; use settings 1-3 (including intermediate positions)
for cutting cereal fl akes.
Fill the hopper with grains and turn the handle (Fig. 8). Do not fi ll the hopper all the way, as the machine
may clog and block the rollers.
Processed grains will exit out of the chute; for easy collection and cleanup, make sure you have a
container in place below the chute before processing begins. For a fi ner grind, pass the grains through
the machine several times on setting 0. If the fl our does not pass through the hopper easily, you can
push it through using the brush provided.
