Install the New Flush Valve
Install the flush valve and seal inside the tank and through the attachment plate.
Make sure that the attachment plate tabs contact the back of the tank wall.
Install and tighten the flush valve nut with the channel-type pliers. Make sure that the flush valve is
centered so that the flapper attachment ears are equally spaced between the front and back of the tank.

Install the Tank
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Overtightening may cause breakage or chipping of the vitreous china.
Slide the tank retaining bolts into the attachment plate on the bottom of the tank. Install the foam gasket.
Position the tank on the bowl by centering the foam gasket on the bowl inlet.
Assemble the washers and nuts to the tank bolts. Alternately tighten the nuts so the tank is level and the
attachment plate tabs contact the bowl.
