Zoom – enlarge or reduce
The camera has an optical and a digital zoom. The optical zoom
will be reached by setting the lens appropriately; the digital zoom
will be activated through the Settings menu.
 Press the W – T key. The bar depicting the Zoom setting
W: The camera will zoom out of the image (wide-angle); you will
record a larger section
T: The camera will zoom into the image ('Telephoto'); you will
record a smaller section.
The digital zoom is not available for video recordings.

The enlarged subject area will be enlarged by
interpolation in the case of the digital zoom; the image
quality can suffer somewhat through this.
