Open Windows Explorer or double-click on 'Workplace' (under
Vista: 'Computer') under different versions of Windows.
 Double-click on the media symbol for the camera.
 Navigate to the 'DCIM' directory and to the directory contained
in it, if necessary, to display the files *.jpg = Photos; *.avi =
sound recordings; *.wav = video recordings). Compare also the
directory structure in the memory.
 Now pull the required files to the directory planned for them
on the PC, e.g. to the 'My own files' directory, with the left
mouse button pressed down. You can also mark the files and
use the 'Copy' and 'Enter' Windows commands.
The files will be transferred to the PC and stored there. You will be
able to display, replay and process the files with suitable
application software.

DCF memory standard

The recordings on your camera are administered (stored, named,
etc.) DCF = Design Rule for Camera File System) in accordance
with the DCF standard. Recordings on the memory cards of other
DCF cameras can be replayed on your camera.
