· The inside of the vehicle can reach very high temperatures in sunlight. It is
advisable to cover the base when it is not in use, to prevent it from possibly
burning the child.
· The straps should never be twisted.
· Always use the child restraint system, even on short journeys, and never leave
the child unattended in the vehicle.
· Take the base out of the vehicle when it is not going to be used and keep it
out of the reach of children.
· It is advisable to securely fasten any luggage or objects that may cause injury
in the event of a collision.
· We guarantee the safety of the product when it is used by the original buyer,
do not use second hand safety seats or devices.
· The other passengers in the vehicle should also be secured with their seat belts,
as in the event of an accident they may get flung about and injure the baby.
· Regularly inspect the clasp, harness of the Base Fix Sono and other elements
that may become loose or suffer from wear and tear through use.
· Remember that you are responsible for the child's safety.
User Instructions
Fitting the Base Fix Sono
IMPORTANT: Consult the instruction manual for your vehicle to locate
the ISOFIX anchor points. If in doubt consult your vehicle retailer.
• Position the openings in front of both ISOFIX anchors, which are found between the
seat and the backrest (fig.01).
NOTE: If your vehicle is already fitted with these openings there is no
need to fit them.
• Unfold the support bar (fig.02).
• Press the isofix connectors extraction button (fig.03), found on the front part of the base.
• Position the Base Fix Sono on the vehicle seat. Position the connectors of the base in
front of the isofix anchors of the vehicle and fasten them, a green indicator will appear
on each of the isofix connectors of the base (fig.04), showing that it has been fitted
correctly. Check that they are secure by pulling the base.
• Next, press the Base Fix Sono against the seat (fig.05), until it is firm against the
backrest of the vehicle.
• Lastly, adjust the length of the support bar by pressing the adjustment button of the
support bar (fig.06) and unfold it until it touches the floor of the vehicle (fig.07). A green
indicator will appear on the support bar when it is fitted correctly.
• Check that the support bar is locked into place, and is correctly fastened into one of the
adjustable positions.
