Installing the Sono
• Unfold the support arm of the Base Fix Sono, until it is in the upright position (fig.08)
• Put the handle of the Sono into the carrying position, and put the backrest into the third
reclining position (fig.09).
• Position the Sono facing backwards, place it on the fastening points of the base.
• Press the Sono against the base (fig.10) until it clicks and two green indicators appear
on the sides of the base (fig.11).
NOTE: Make sure that the support arm is correctly supporting the
backrest of the Sono.
WARNING: The SONO can only be fitted onto the Base Fix Sono, if the
backrest of the SONO is in the third position.
• Check that it is securely fastened to the base by pulling the Sono upwards.
Detaching the Sono
• Pull the release device found on the front part of the base (fig.12). The side indicators
of the Base Fix Sono will turn red, indicating that it has been detached correctly (fig.13).
• Pull the Sono upwards (fig.14).
Detaching the Base Fix Sono
• Detach the Sono.
• Fold the support arm of the Base Fix Sono (fig.15).
• Pull the buttons on both sides of the connectors. A red signal will appear if this has been
done correctly (fig. 16).
• Remove the base from the seat.
• Fold the support bar under the base (fig.17).
Maintenance
• Clean the plastic parts of the base using a cloth with soap and warm water. Do not use
abrasive cleaning products or solvents.
• Regularly inspect the parts of the base and check they are working correctly.
