1.3.5 Disassembling a tyre
In principle, the guidelines of the German Rubber Industry Trade Association
(Wirtschaftsverband der deutschen Kautschukindustrie) should be observed when
disassembling tyres.

Turn and/or set the stretched wheel so that the wheel valve is
approx. 10 cm in front of the assembly head.
Press the tire down in the mounting head area.
Lubricate the assembly finger and the tire at the point of contact
of the assembly finger.
Now move the assembly finger down so that it can slide under
the tire.
If the finger does not slip under the tire bead, this can be
remedied by turning the wheel slightly.

remedied by turning the wheel slightly. Pay attention to the
wheel valve and keep a suitable safety distance to the retracted
assembly finger.
