Before the first use

Remove the scales from the packaging.

Remove the battery protection (see "Battery
Replacement").
Operation

Place the scales on a hard, level surface. Do not
use the appliance on carpets or any soft surfaces.

Press the
button (3) to switch on the
appliance.

Wait until the display shows „ ".
4
Select the required weight unit (see "Weight Unit
Selection").
5
When the weighing has been completed, press the
(3) button and hold it for about 2 seconds to
switch off the appliance.
Warning indicators
The battery must be replaced – „
the display. The scales will switch off automatically
after several seconds.
Weight overload – the display will show „
Remove the item in order not to damage the scales.
Do not exceed the maximum capacity
of 5000 g (5 kg).

Description of functions
Weighing

Press the
, button (3) to switch on the appliance.

Wait until the display shows „ ".

Select the required weight unit (see "Weight Unit
Selection").

Place the items that you wish to weigh on the metal
weighing platform (Do not exceed the maximum
capacity of 5000 g!).
Reset (tare)
When the appliance is on, and the display shows „ ",
place a plate, bowl or another container on the scales
and press the
, button (3) to reset the scales.
The "TARE" symbol will only be shown
if the container is heavier than 600 g.
Automatic switch-off
The appliance will switch off automatically if no
operation is carried out for approx. 60 seconds.
To maximize the life of batteries, it is
recommended to switch off the scales
when you have finished the operation.
Weight unit selection
The appliance has a weight unit selection function.
To change the unit, press the
(2) until the required unit appears on the display.
