5 CPI extension and SAVE button
5.1 Extension of the CPV Direct
You can connect CPI/CP modules and/or CP valve
terminals with and without extended functions to the
CPI extension connection.
The CPV−CO3 valve terminal is the CPI master. Observe the
rules for extension in section 8 Technical specifications"
and in manual P.BE−CPV−CO3−...
5.2 Saving the string assignment
Requirement:
The modules in the CP string must be connected correctly,
the power supply must be switched off.
1. Switch on the power supply for the CPV Direct and, if
applicable, for the CPI/CP modules/valve terminals. If
the string assignment is new or has been modified, the
LED P will flash.
2. Press the SAVE button for at least 1 s.
The LED P goes out.
3. Check the address assignments of your CPI system
before starting user programs.
