The axis controller of type CPX−CMAX−C1−1 is intended
exclusively for use in CPX terminals from Festo in conjunc
tion with suitable components. The maximum values
specified in the section Technical specifications" must be
observed here.

with the CMAX can be found in the System Manual for the

Basic information on the CPX terminal can be found in the

Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
S Use only power units which guarantee reliable
electrical isolation of the operating voltage as per
IEC/DIN EN 60204−1. Observe also the general
requirements for PELV power circuits as per IEC/DIN
EN 60204−1.
S Connect an earthing cable with sufficient cross−
sectional area to the connection on the CPX terminal
marked with the earth symbol.
S The CMAX contains electrostatically sensitive
components. Therefore, do not touch any
components. Observe the handling specifications for
electrostatically sensitive components.
