Securing Your Bike
WATER BOTTLE CAGES on
the leading side of the down
tube must be removed if they
interfere with the Jaws.
• OPEN Jaws (Red Lever up)
• RAISE Hoop
• ROLL bicycle forward as Jaws
meet the down tube.
Secure Front and Rear Wheels
SECURE THE REAR WHEEL.
Pull the strap
through wheel
spokes.
Insert the strap
end behind the red button.
Tighten strap by lifting the red tab up.
BEFORE DRIVING AWAY
Make sure Wheel Straps are SECURE.
Make sure Jaws are TIGHTLY closed.
CHECK ALL HARDWARE BEFORE DRIVING AWAY!
MOVE BUTTONS
in or out
to accommodate
the diameter of
your bicycle's
down tube.
In the open position, Jaws should
clear the down tube. If not, loosen or
tighten as needed.
LOOSEN TIGHTEN
NOTE: The front wheel
of the bicycle must rest
inside the Hoop.
Close the Red Lever so that
the Jaws clamp the down tube
firmly.
OPEN
CLOSE
Check your wheel
and tighten the
strap if necessary.
Release the strap
by pushing the
button.
Set your bicycle in the
Wheel Tray with the Hoop
lying flat between the
wheels.
Locks...
Some bike wheels may
be too narrow to allow
a tight fit. Slide the
strap in the tray until it
rests against the rim.
Tighten.
MAINTENANCE
To keep your LockJaw
operating smoothly, apply
non-water soluble lubricant
occasionally to threads and
moving parts.
