Lint-free cloth
Spray bottle that contains a wetting solution (2 drops of
unscented liquid detergent mixed with 24 oz. of water)
Squeegee
Suggested Installation Procedure:
1. The body surface should be between 60°F and 90°F.
2. Thoroughly wash the front fender surface with warm soap and water.
3. Clean the surface with an alcohol wipe and remove any residue with a
clean, lint-free cloth.
4. Using the wetting solution in the spray bottle, set the nozzle to a fine mist
and saturate the fender.
5. Carefully separate the front section of the decal from the
rear section along the center perforation. Set the rear por-
tion aside.
6. Place the front section of the decal face-down on a flat surface and slowly
remove the release liner. The adhesive will now be exposed.
7. Use the wetting solution to saturate the exposed adhesive side of the decal.

8. Locate the front edge of the blue carrier "premask" to the front lamp opening
while locating the lower edge of the premask to the upper line around the
wheel well opening. The decal should be laying on the surface as flat as
possible.
9. Using a plastic squeegee, press the decal into place beginning just below
the crown of the fender, using a horizontal stroke for initial attachment to the
fender.
10. Carefully press the upper portion of the decal into place using upward
strokes, then use downward strokes for the lower portion. Press small sec-
tions at a time, in order to minimize any wrinkles.
11. Place the rear section of the decal face-down on a flat surface and slowly
remove the release liner.
12. Use the wetting solution to saturate the exposed adhesive side of the decal.
13. Locate the top notch of the premask to the top edge of the installed front
portion while aligning the leading edge of the premask to the rear edge of
the installed front portion of the decal.
14. Using a plastic squeegee, press the decal into place beginning just below
the crown of the fender, using a horizontal stroke for initial attachment to the
fender.
15. Carefully press the upper portion of the decal into place using upward
strokes, then use downward strokes for the lower portion. Press small sec-
tions at a time, in order to minimize any wrinkles.
16. Remove the premask at 180° to the surface of the vehicle.
17. Inspect the decal for imperfections, bubbles or poor adhesion along the
edges. If necessary, re-press the decal into place and, if any bubbles
remain, remove them by using a pin or needle to release the trapped air/
water. Pierce a hole at the side of the bubble and then press the air/water
through the hole beginning at the opposite side of the bubble and working
toward the hole.
18. If any edge lifting occurs, use a hair dryer to heat the edge, then re-press
the edge to the fender.
