• The inside unit of the high-temperature grill can be removed for a more comfortable and
thorough cleaning, simply unscrew the screws on the side walls, pull them out, clean them
and insert them again.
Note: The grill rate and fat drip tray are made of high-quality stainless steel and can be washed in
the dishwasher.

6. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
Smoke is generated
during operation.
The device does not
respond or does not
heat up.
The device's surface
is very hot.

Possible cause
• Food is touching the
heating element.
• There is no food
touching the heating
element.
• The plug is not connec-
ted to the main supply.
• The set time has ex-
pired.
• The device is not
switched on.
• The microfuse on the
back of the device is not
activated.
• The device has
overheated.
• The grill grate is not
properly in place.
• Vents are blocked.
• Air intakes are blocked.
Solution
•Switch off the device and remove food.
•Interrupt the grilling process immediately
and allow the device to cool down.
• Insert the plug into the main supply.
• Restart the device.
•Press the device's power button to turn
it on.
• Contact the official Technical Support
Service of Cecotec.
• The device turns automatically off for
safety reasons. Wait until it cools down
completely before using it again.
• Turn the device off and allow it to cool
completely down, then, assemble it
properly.
• Remove any item or dirt blocking vents.
• Remove any item or dirt blocking air
intakes.
