General Maxi-Cosi Pebble instructions
1. Y ou are personally responsible for the safety of
your baby at all times.
2. N ever hold your baby on your lap when driving.
3. D o not use the Maxi-Cosi Pebble for more than
5 years.

4. D o not use second-hand products where the
history is unknown.
5. R eplace the Maxi-Cosi Pebble after an accident.
6. R ead this instruction manual carefully and keep
it in the storage compartment in the
Maxi-Cosi Pebble.
Warning: Do not make any changes to the
Maxi-Cosi Pebble whatsoever, as this could affect
the performance of the car seat and render it
unsafe.
Maxi-Cosi Pebble maintenance instructions
1. T he cover, cushions and belt pads of the
Maxi-Cosi Pebble can be removed in order
for these to be cleaned. They can be
machine-washed. The flexible plastic edge can
be cleaned with water, soap and a soft cloth.
2. I f the cover needs to be replaced at any time,
only use official Maxi-Cosi fabrics.
3. T he Maxi-Cosi Pebble must undergo regular
maintenance. Do not use lubricants or
aggressive cleaning agents.
The Maxi-Cosi Pebble and your baby
1. Never leave your baby unattended.
2. A lways secure your baby with the harness belt.
3. B efore every use, make sure the harness is not
damaged or twisted.
4. M ake sure you can fit no more than one finger
between the harness and your baby (1cm).
5. O nly use the headrest of the Maxi-Cosi Pebble
when the shoulder belts are in the lowest
position.
Warning: Never place the Maxi-Cosi Pebble on an
elevated surface (such as a table or chair).
Maxi-Cosi Pebble car use
1. A lways check to make sure the car seat can be
installed properly in your car before purchasing it.
2. M ake sure the fold-down rear seat is locked into
position.
3. P revent the Maxi-Cosi Pebble from becoming
trapped or weighed down by luggage, seats
and/or slamming doors.
4. M ake sure that all luggage and other loose
objects are secure.
5. T he safest place for your baby is the rear of your
vehicle, however if you need to install the seat in
the front passenger seat, please ensure that any
airbag is deactivated.
6. O nly use a forward-facing seat that is fitted with
a 3-point safety belt that complies with the ECE
R16 standard (at a minimum).
7. M ake sure the car safety belt buckle runs in a
straight line and stays below the belt hook of
the Maxi-Cosi Pebble. See the p.8 example.

8. The car safety belt must be threaded along
all blue markings. For proper installation
instructions, see pages 8-9 and/or the sticker
on the side of the Maxi-Cosi Pebble.
9. A lways cover the Maxi-Cosi Pebble when
exposed to direct sunlight in the car. Otherwise,
the cover, metal and plastic parts could become
too hot for your child's skin.
Warning: The Maxi-Cosi Pebble may only be
installed in a rear-facing position in the car.
Maxi-Cosi Pebble in aeroplanes
• I nstalling the Maxi-Cosi Pebble with a 2-point
safety belt is only allowed when used in an
aircraft.
• I n an aircraft, the Maxi-Cosi Pebble may only be
used on forward-facing passenger seats.
