It will adjust to your time zone and to summer
and winter time using the time on your
smartphone (the ACE 2.0 and your smartphone
must be connected for this purpose).
Connecting to a smartphone
The ACE 2.0 app must not be used by
the driver whilst the engine is running.
To connect your smartphone to the ACE 2.0,
enable the Wi-Fi function on your smartphone
and, using the ACE 2.0 app, connect to the
following:
SSID: BMWACE2.0
Standard password: 1234567890
The ACE 2 can generally only be
connected to one smartphone at any one
time. This way, you can make sure that
there is no Wi-Fi connection between
another smartphone and the ACE 2. In
this case the desired Wi-Fi connection
would not be possible.
You must also disable power saving mode on
your smartphone. On certain smartphones,
the connection between the ACE 2.0 and the
smartphone may fail if power saving mode is
active. Furthermore, some smartphone models
do not generally support a permanent Wi-Fi
connection with other devices.
After connection, the ACE 2.0 app will adopt the
language set on your smartphone.
For security reasons, the ACE 2.0 app will
ask you to change the standard password
(at least 8 characters) and the SSID.
Numbers, letters or the "-", "_" and "."
special characters can be used. When
you have changed your password and
the SSID, you will have to repeat the login
process on your smartphone using the
new access data.

With firmware version 1.20 or higher, you can
also establish a connection after the engine/
ignition has been switched off. The default
setting provides a timeframe of 3 minutes for
this purpose (exit phase). You can adjust this
timeframe manually in your ACE 2.0 app.
For further information, see section
entitled "Parking mode".
The connection will remain active for as long as
you interact with the ACE 2.0 using the ACE 2.0
app.
The following applies to iOS users:
If you use Apple CAR PLAY in your car,
please pay attention to and follow the
connection instructions in the ACE 2.0
app.
If you have any questions or problems
with establishing the connection, you can

In KOREA and JAPAN, please contact

service outlet.
