4. INSTALLATION

2 ASSEMBLY OF THE VERTICAL PUMP UNIT WITH ELECTRIC MOTOR
To assemble the intake pipe with foot valve and axis line pump, see points: 1.1,
1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5.
- Enter the command for the electric motor (B); this has 2 half-couplings (G1 - G2)
which allow transmission from the motor to the pump (Fig.31).
- Using a suitable lifting device, lift by means of bell (C)
- Level the pump using a spirit level on the delivery outlet or pump shaft.
- Insert any required shims under the pump feet.
- Assemble the motor side half-coupling (G), lift and insert the motor (M) using its
eyebolts (H).
- Connect the motor electrically. (Warning: this must be done by qualified electri-
cal technician).
- Before assembling the pump to the command, check the rotation direction of
the motor comparing it with the arrow on the pump.
