2.1. MEASUREMENT PRINCIPLE
This probe employs the principle of measuring the flux in a magnetic circuit by a Hall-effect sensor,
allowing measurement of both direct and alternating currents.
Its measurement sensitivity, its metrological capabilities, and its very good frequency response make it
an ideal measurement accessory for oscilloscopes.
The output is a voltage. It can be:
the image of the current: switch set to INST (for instantaneous),
the RMS value of the current: switch set to RMS.
2.2. USE
2.2.1. CONNECTION
Power up the probe by sliding the switch to INST or RMS.
Check that the ON indicator lights. If not, it is time to replace the battery.
The OL indicator lights briefly, then goes off.
Connect the probe to the oscilloscope.
