4. MAINTENANCE
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any accident that occurs following a repair not
performed by its customer service department or by an approved repairer.
4.1. CLEANING
Disconnect everything connected to the instrument and set the switch to OFF.
Use a soft cloth, dampened with soapy water. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry rapidly with a dry cloth
or forced air. Do not use alcohol, solvents, or hydrocarbons.
Make sure that no foreign body interferes with the operation of the snap device of the sensor.
To avoid oxidation of the air gaps, wipe with a lightly oiled cloth from time to time.
4.2. REPLACEMENT OF THE BATTERY
The battery must be replaced when the green (ON) indicator remains off after power-up.
Disconnect everything connected to the clamp and set the switch to OFF.
Turn the clamp over, then, using a flat screwdriver, unscrew the screw of the battery compartment cover.
Slide the battery compartment cover off.
Withdraw the spent battery from the compartment and disconnect it without pulling on the wires.
Connect the new battery (6LF22 type 9V alkaline battery) to the clip connector.
Replace the battery compartment cover and screw the screw back in.
